Care Requirements:

Lighting: Low to Moderate. WWC OG Bounce Mushrooms prefer lower to moderate lighting conditions (50-150 PAR). Too much intense light can cause them to recede, lose their vibrant coloration, or reduce their "bouncing" effect. They often thrive in shaded areas or lower in the tank.

Water Flow: Low to Moderate. Provide gentle, indirect water flow. Strong, direct flow can prevent the mushroom from fully extending and "bouncing." They appreciate an area where water movement is enough to keep detritus from settling on them but not so strong that it pushes them around.

Water Parameters: While generally hardy, stable water parameters are always beneficial for optimal health and coloration.

Temperature: 72-78°F (22-26°C)

Salinity: 1.024-1.026 specific gravity

Alkalinity: 8-12 dKH (they can tolerate a wider range than many other corals)

Calcium: 350-450 ppm

Magnesium: 1250-1350 ppm

Nitrate & Phosphate: Keep these parameters low but not necessarily "zero." Mushrooms can tolerate slightly higher nutrient levels compared to SPS corals.

Feeding: While photosynthetic, WWC OG Bounce Mushrooms will greatly benefit from occasional target feeding. Offer fine particulate foods like zooplankton, phytoplankton, frozen mysis shrimp, or even small pieces of chopped meaty foods 1-2 times per week. They will absorb these foods through their polyps.

Placement: Place the mushroom on a stable rock or in a sandy area where it won't be overshadowed by other corals. Ensure it has room to grow, as mature specimens can become quite large. They are generally peaceful but can sometimes irritate very sensitive corals if in direct contact.
